Job Purpose and Impact

The Palm Origination Merchant will represents the critical link between suppliers and commercial accounts in Palm waste products business and its origination to support company strategy. In this role you will explore more on Palm waste products in Indonesia, building relationship with suppliers and assist the execution of the contract commitment with our stakeholder within Cargill. Key Accountabilities

Develop and maintain relationship with Palm Waste Products supplier in Indonesia and liaise with Cargill Europe Team.
Develop a deep understanding of the basic market access needs desired by the Palm Waste suppliers and build the game plan accordingly.
Liaise with Supply Chain Team on both trade execution and logistic to ensure smoot execution of the contract commitment.
Ensure the potential suppliers for both Palm and Palm Waste already passed both Registration and Sustainability Due Diligence process.
Provide market information on production, mill/refinery/tank utilization, FFB movement and supplier selling position and volume.
Support Origination Merchant on daily CPO/CPKO purchase from both 3rd party and internal.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimal 5 years experiences in commodity trading especially in palm or palm waste products in Indonesia.
Experiences in palm down stream business in Indonesia.
Willing to travel within and outside Indonesia.
Commercial and financial acumen
Understanding of basic production agriculture principles
